We are seeking Part-time Box Office Clerks for our 2010-2011 Season
Located in the heart of downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, Neptune Theatre is one of Canada's premiere regional theatres and has provided Atlantic Canada with high-quality, professional theatre for more than 46 years. Neptune Theatre is an integral part of the arts community in Nova Scotia with the 479-seat Fountain Hall Theatre, 190-seat Studio Theatre, a Theatre School with over 1,400 students, and a Young Neptune Company Tour that travels to more than 100 schools throughout Nova Scotia each year.
Box Office Clerks are at the front of the line for customer service at Neptune and deal directly with Neptune Theatre patrons both in person and by telephone. Under the direct supervision of the Box Office Manager, Box Office Clerks are responsible for the following: general ticket sales and service; providing patrons with exemplary customer service; following box office policies and procedures; following cash and credit handling procedures; and a variety of administrative and customer oriented tasks.
Candidates for this position must be 19 years and older, have good oral and written communication skills, a good work and attendance record and superior customer service skills. Hours vary, but are mostly evenings and weekends. Prior experience in a similar role would be desirable.
