Jelly Belly Makes Garbage Delight of Alligator Pie

By Kim Selody  Featuring Music by Cathy Nosaty
Based on the poems of Dennis Lee

As another school year comes to an end, Young Neptune Company Tour is preparing for its fall performance of Jelly Belly Makes Garbage Delight of Alligator Pie, by Kim Selody.

Three kids who live in a dumpster wake up one day to discover the magic in the world around them.  In this action packed, musical extravaganza these three young people use everyday objects and their immediate surroundings as the inspiration for creating a world of rhyme and song.  With a heavy emphasis on literacy and creativity this play focuses on the power of the imagination and a spirit of cooperation!  Dennis Lee's Alligator Pie is one of Canada's best-selling children's books of all time and our production is a celebration of his words through dance, music and mime.

Young Neptune Company Tour will be touring Nova Scotia September 27 – December 3.  Performances are $600 (+HST) per performance, or $550 (+HST) if you book before June 25.
