The David Renton Memorial Scholarship, established through the generosity of David’s family, is an annual scholarship of $575 to be awarded to one student per year who is a member of the Youth Performance Company of the Neptune Theatre School.
Criteria for receiving The David Renton Memorial Scholarship
- Keen interest in the performing arts;
- Successful audition and admission to both sections of The Youth Performance Company;
- Demonstrated financial need;
- A student who demonstrates the “Neptune Theatre Company Spirit” that David Renton so wonderfully epitomized.
Regulations and Procedures
How to apply:
Application: Download and complete the attached Scholarship Application form and submit to the Scholarship Selection committee.
Notification of Award:
The recipient will be notified two weeks prior to commencement of the summer portion of the Youth Performance Company.
The scholarship recipient will be acknowledged and presented with a certificate and the scholarship after the final performance of the Youth Performance Company in December.
Deadline for Applications: July 21, 2009. Late applications will not be accepted.
