Since 1983, Neptune Theatre School has taught performing arts to more than 1,400 students annually.  Classes are offered year-round to aspiring young actors and theatre enthusiasts from ages 4-18.

From drama and improvisation to musical theatre and dance, Neptune Theatre School has a course addressing virtually every area of professional theatre.  No matter what your experience, there's a part for everyone!

Theatre classes for youth ages 4-18 are offered each spring, fall and winter. Summer Camps are available throughout July and August. Additional workshops take place during March Break and on weekends.

Young Actors Company

Neptune Prep Theatre School Program

Neptune Prep is an advanced program for students 16 and up who wish to pursue a post-secondary theatre program. Our goal is to offer a curriculum, which is currently unavailable in Nova Scotia, to help students attain admission to post-secondary schools of performing arts. Click here for more information.


Adult Intensives

Adult Intensives are open to students 18 years and older. The intent of the adult intensives is train adults at a professional level in areas of theatre, dance and performance. Courses involve 9 hours of training and are run by leading professionals in the community or experienced visiting artists. Click here for more information.
