Registration Opens SoonAbout Jeremy: Jeremy Webb (he/him) is the twelfth Artistic Director in Neptune Theatre’s history. Prior to Neptune, Jeremy was the Artistic Producer of Eastern Front Theatre. Jeremy moved to Canada, from his native UK, in 1998, making Halifax home. He grew up in Cambridge and trained at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Jeremy has been working at Neptune ever since 1998, in so many capacities. For Neptune he has directed Mamma Mia, How The Other Half Loves (co-pro with Thousand Islands Playhouse, Ontario,) The Little Shop of Horrors, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Disney's Frozen, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (also transferred to MIRVISH Productions, Toronto,) Murder For Two (Festival Antigonish/Neptune co-pro; also at Thousand Islands Playhouse, ON.) The Play That Goes Wrong, Elf: The Musical, Alice, Fully Committed, Woman In Black, The Rocky Horror Show, Peter Pan, Mamma Mia!, Shakespeare In Love, Cinderella, Noises Off, Little Thing Big Thing, Calendar Girls, and Billy Elliot The Musical. He has directed for Festival Antigonish, Eastern Front Theatre, Alive Theatre. Jeremy directed Noises Off for The Mayfield Theatre in Edmonton in February 2020. |

Ever thought about trying stand-up comedy? Here’s your chance! Join comedian Joseph Harfouche as he returns with his Stand-Up & Improv Fusion Workshop—a fun, supportive space to explore your comedic voice. Over six weeks, you’ll learn the essentials of stage presence, joke writing, and comedic timing, while discovering the joy of play and creativity. The program wraps up with a live showcase performance where you can share your new material with family and friends. By the end of the course, you’ll have a polished five-minute stand-up set ready for local open mics. Even if you’re not chasing a career in comedy, you’ll build confidence, sharpen communication skills, and maybe even cross “try stand-up” off your bucket list! 6 Classes: Tuesdays, April 14th to May 19th 7:00-9:00PM$200 Who: Adults 18+ Where: Neptune Theatre. Registration Opens SoonAbout Joseph: Joseph Harfouche is an actor and improviser known for his sharp wit and distinctive comedic voice. Having traded the traditional “yes, and” for a confidently contrarian “no, but,” Joseph approaches performance with both creativity and precision. Whether discussing facial hair or finding new ways to connect with an audience, his comedic instincts are unmatched. He has trained with Bad Dog Theatre and Second City, and is an active member of Neptune Theatre’s Conservatory Improv Program. Joseph produces his own successful events, including Joe and Friends. Joseph is a prominent presence in the Halifax comedy community, Joseph has also been recognized for his work in Toronto and Orlando, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and engaging performer. |

Come and learn all about sword fighting for the stage! This class is all about foundations, whether you’re picking up a sword for the first time or sharpening existing skills, you’ll be challenged at every level. Dive into footwork, attacks, and parries while refining the techniques that make fights look fast, fierce, all while being safe. Over two action-packed days, you’ll push your abilities and bring it all together in a dynamic, choreographed sword fight.
