Heathers The Musical: Teen Edition is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously handsome new kid J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather’s aerobicized butt... but J.D. has another plan for that bullet. A bit more about our YPCo production:
This show is put on by Neptune's Youth Performance Company. These young actors have attended our Boot Camps and other training and then auditioned for this production. Through over 80 hours or rehearsal we build the show with our profesional team of directors, designers and technitions. This is an educational program which culminates in a professsional level production.
This production features a company of 28 wonderful performers. Many of them cover and understudy eachother in roles and due to illness or other conflicts there may be some shifts in the cast throughout the run. That beind said...
We have two Veronica's for this production!
Please note that the role of Veronica will be played by Rose Moore on Sunday, October 20th at 2pm & Thursday, October 24th at 7:30pm. Otherwise, Veronica will be played by Olivia Gouthro.
