In this 2-week musical intensive, students will hone their performance skills in preparation for auditioning for Neptune’s Youth Performance Company. Through a variety of workshops, games, and special intensives with guest teachers, students will gain confidence, clarity, and power in their performance practice! This camp will focus on dance technique, solo and ensemble singing, and storytelling through song and performance. These camps are led by industry professionals and culminate in a final showcase performance for family and friends! It is recommended that students attend at least one YPCo Boot Camp before auditioning for our YPCo shows.

 YPCo ACTING BOOT CAMP (AGES 13-18)

This 2-week intensive is designed to help students build a well-rounded set of foundational skills in performance. Students will explore dance, singing, acting and improvisation by working towards the full theatre creation process starting with auditions and rehearsals. Academy culminates in a short, devised, mini-musical to be performed for our friends and family on Neptune’s Scotiabank Stage! Appropriate for aspiring performers with a special interest in “show business”. This program is intended to be a stepping stone towards Neptune’s YPCo.
