NEPTUNE THEATRE GENERAL MUSICAL THEATRE AUDITIONS

Submission deadline: February 21, 2025

Audition date: March 3, 2025

Halifax

Neptune Theatre will be holding General Musical Theatre Auditions for adults (16+) for the 2025-26 season IN PERSON in Halifax. The Musical Director for one of our upcoming shows will be in attendance, and Artistic Director Jeremy Webb would like to see those who wish to be seen in a musical capacity, whether it's for the first time or the fifteenth.

How to apply

Artists should self-submit through Neptune’s Casting Database with their most up-to-date materials - headshot, resume and (optionally) a brief cover letter.

No agency submissions. Agents, please ask your clients to submit individually via our submission portal. Artists are reminded to sign up with their agent’s contact info rather than their own, if your agent wishes to be your main point of contact.
Selected Artists will be contacted with a link to book their own audition slot.

Artists are invited to utilize their time however they wish: monologues, pieces, conversation, bring a scene partner and audition together, it really is your time to maximize, however we will need to hear you sing. There will be an accompanist at individual auditions, and there will also be a group dance call.

These generals are for East Coast artists. Should you not be available for the audition dates or are unable to attend due to your remote location from Halifax, we welcome submissions from folks who wish to audition via self-tape - instructions will be provided to those selected.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in the 2025-2026 season will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
